West Ham vs Arsenal – Arsenal have a difficult away fixture at the London Stadium when they take on West Ham United in the English Premier League today. Arsenal were comprehensively beaten by Southampton in a 2-0 result in the League Cup in midweek but would be fielding a much stronger side against the Hammers.

Arsenal are fourth in league standings with twenty eight points, just three points off league leaders Chelsea who have a difficult away match at the Etihad against Manchester City. The Gunners secured a 3-1 win against Bournemouth in their last game after two consecutive 1-1 draws in the preceding matches.

West Ham United held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at the Old Trafford in their last league game, but they have failed to win any of their previous four matches, a poor stretch of form which has seen them drop to the sixteenth position with just twelve points from thirteen games.

Gokhan Tore, Sam Byram and Diafra Sakho are sidelined through injuries while Andy Carroll is not match-fit. Reece Oxford, Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell have been listed as doubts.

Arsenal will be without Per Mertesacker, Chuba Akpom, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Debuchy, Mohamed Elneny and Danny Welbeck.
