Fulham appoint Rene Meulensteen as new coach

The former Manchester United assistant coach Rene Meulensteen has been appointed as Fulham head coach.

Meulensteen left Manchester United after the retirement of Alex Ferguson. Because David Moyes have decided to change all the coaching staff.

Fulham is in a precarious situation in English Premier League, they are within the relegation zone with only 10 points from 11 matches.

They will host Swansea City at Craven Cottage next week.

Meulensteen will work closely with Fulham manager, Martin Jol to revive the club and fight for Premier League survival.
