The first leg match of World Cup intercontinental playoff kicked off last night with many goals in both matches.

Jordan suffered a massive five goals defeat to Uruguay at their home ground, Amman International Stadium.

In the other match, Mexico had the support of their home fans at Estadio Azteca. The Mexicans humiliated New Zealand with a 5-1 scoreline.

Yesterday match results meant that South Americans have one foot into World Cup 2014.

The second leg match of intercontinental playoff will be kick off next week.
