Barcelona vs Real Madrid – The latest edition of the infamous El Clasico sees Real Madrid travel to El Camp Nou on 3rd December, Saturday to face Barcelona for a La Liga fixture. Real Madrid have held the edge in La Liga this season, opening up a small points gap at the top of the league table.

Real Madrid have thirty three points from thirteen games and are still unbeaten in the league. Barcelona are third with twenty seven points from their eight wins – the draws against Malaga and Real Sociedad in their last two league fixtures have hurt Barcelona’s chances of keeping up with their arch rivals prior to Christmas.

Real Madrid will go into the game pretty confident of their chances, as Zinedine Zidane’s side have managed to procure results in the league even when they have not been playing at their absolute best.

Both clubs have a number of injury concerns. Jeremy Mathieu is a confirmed absentee for Barcelona. Andres Iniesta, Samuel Umiti and Jordi Alba are likely to feature although they have just returned from injuries.
