Zidane emphasizes the importance of Real Madrid vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Real Madrid will qualify for the Champions League knockout stage with a win over Shakhtar Donetsk. They are seeking revenge for their 3-2 defeat by the Ukrainian football club in October.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid will be without captain Sergio Ramos, midfielder Federico Valverde, defender Dani Carvajal and forward Luka Jovic due to injuries.

Eden Hazard is the latest casualty after sustaining a thigh muscle injury in La Liga match last weekend. He will be on the sidelines for two weeks.

The former Chelsea player has featured in just 28 of 65 matches for Real since joining last year for €100 million. He has failed to live up to his hefty price tag and the number 7 jersey which was wore by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Acting captain, Nacho, insisted that the game against Shakhtar Donetsk is the most important group stage game because they are three points which could see them qualify. 

Shakhtar Donetsk did not win any of their last 3 Champions League matches.
