Roma 2-1 Fiorentina – Italy Serie A Result

After four consecutive draws in Italy Serie A, Roma beat Fiorentina 2-1 last night to end their winless streak.

Maicon gave Roma the lead in the seventh minutes but Vargas equalized to take the match 1-1 at half-time.

M. Destro was the hero for Roma by scoring the winning goal after returning from a lengthy injury.

It was a difficult match against Fiorentina that is ranked fifth in the Serie A table.

Roma’s midfielder M. Pjanić was sent off towards the end of the match after a second yellow card for a harsh tackle.
