Czech Republic striker Milan Baros has signed a contract with Czech Liga club Banik Ostrava until 30 June 2014. It is the club where Baros started his football career.
Turkey Super Lig giants Galatasaray terminated Milan Baros contract last week after the club had recruited former Chelsea star Didier Drogba on an 18-month contract.
Baros joined Istanbul club Galatasaray in 2008 and was the Turkish Super Lig 2008-2009 top goal scorer.
He rose to prominence at Euro 2004, a tournament which he finished as the top scorer, and has also played for Liverpool, Aston Villa and Lyon.
Baros, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, ended his international career after Euro 2012, having scored 41 goals in 93 games for the Czech Republic.
