V Sundramoorthy has officially resigned as the head coach of Singapore LIONSXII.

Negeri Sembilan have expressed their interest to sign Sundram as their head coach by nearly doubling his salary from SGD $8,000/month to SGD $15,000/month.

Sundram has attracted attention from several Malaysia football clubs after leading Singapore LionsXII to the Malaysia Super League title in 2012-2013 season and reaching the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup.

Negeri Sembilan will be playing in the Malaysian Premier League for the new season and Sundram’s priority is to inspire the team to promotion to Malaysia Super League as well as winning the Malaysia Cup.

He will also be armed with a big warchest for signing new players to deliver the silverware.
