Italy Serie A football clubs have reached a consensus to complete 2019-2020 season which is currently halted due to COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been suspended since 9 March 2020 for safety reasons.

Italy is one of the European countries which is badly hit by coronavirus. It has more than 183,000 confirmed cases and over 24,000 deaths.

Juventus leads Italy Serie A league table with 63 points. Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates have agreed to take a pay cut to support the football club financially.

Lazio is just a point behind the league leaders.

There are still 12 more matches to go before the Serie A season concludes.
