COVID-19 infects Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has been infected by COVID-19 virus and he could no longer participate in UEFA Nations League for his national team Portugal.

It remains a mystery how did Cristiano Ronaldo contract the deadly virus?

Portugal coach Fernando Santos  said that the team undergone seven tests every day and strictly comply with the rules imposed by the health authorities.

It is a major relief that the remaining players in the Portugal squad underwent new tests on Tuesday and the results were negative.

Ronaldo was one of the Juventus players who joined up with their national teams last week and did not remain in quarantine in Turin despite Juventus reported that two staff members had tested positive for the coronavirus.

He will not play a part in Italy Serie A match this weekend against Crotone as he begins an isolation period which could take up to three weeks.
