Atletico Madrid vs Singapore in Peter Lim Charity match

Atletico Madrid, the winners of the Spain Copa del Rey, have arrived in Singapore.

With two matches left in Spain Primera Division, Atletico Madrid still made the trip to Singapore to participate in a charity match organised by Peter Lim’s Olympic Foundation.

The charity exhibition match will kick off on Wednesday, 22 May, at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Atletico Madrid‘s manager, Diego Pablo Simeone, has promised Singapore football fans that he will field a strong line-up when they play against the Singapore Selection side tomorrow.

Atletico Madrid‘s top goalscorer, Radamel Falcao, will be playing despite rumours that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Singapore’s coach, V Sundramoorthy, is looking forward to the charity match that his players will gain invaluable experience in Spanish football.

He said: “I have been watching them in Spain La Liga every week and I am very impressed by the way they pass the ball.”
