Real Madrid need James Rodriguez to win

Real Madrid is in a state of crisis, with only 1 victory in the last 5 matches.

The manager of Real Madrid has to take full responsibility for the recent losses. He is none other than Zinedine Zidane.

In the past, there was rumours that he does not see eye to eye with James Rodriguez despite the talent and flair that the Colombian attacking midfielder possesses.

We thought this has changed with the new season of Spain La Liga 2019-2020. James was playing regularly since August last year and Real Madrid flourished under his presence.

Among the thirteen matches that James featured in the starting line-up till the final whistle, Real Madrid lost just once. It shows how influential and important James Rodriguez is to the squad.

Unfortunately, James Rodriguez’s playing time was limited after he suffered an injury in late January. Despite his return to full fitness in February, he has lost the trust of Zidane for unknown reasons.

Zidane’s tactical method in deploying Vinícius Júnior , Luka Modrić and
Isco did not yield positive results. These players are off-form and wasting abundance of opportunities in front of goals.
