Carpi vs Roma – Serie A – Preview

Carpi hosts Roma at Stadio Alberto Braglia on 12th February, Friday in a Serie A fixture as they aim to climb up from the foot of the league table. The nineteenth-placed Carpi are in desperate need of points to stay up and have won only four out of their twenty four matches so far.

Although Carpi won two consecutive matches against Udinese and Sampdoria earlier this year, their results have deteriorated since then as they remained winless in their previous four matches, losing the last two to Fiorentina and Napoli.

Roma, who sit on the fifth position in league table, have managed to win their last three games on the trot after a few dismal weeks. With twelve wins in the Serie A, Roma are on forty four points while Carpi have accumulated nineteen points.

Matteo Fedele, Igor Bubnjic, Emanuele Suagher and Laurenzo Pasciuti are sidelined through injuries for the home side while Raffaele Bianco is suspended. Roma will be without Vasilis Torosidis. Danielle de Rossi and Kevin Strootman have been listed as doubts as well.
