Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of lifting the Premier League title took a huge blow last week as they lost 1-0 away to West Ham, and with Chelsea winning their game it leaves the current leaders needing just one more win to wrap up the title. It could be all over before a ball is kicked on Monday.

Despite this Tottenham remain in excellent form. Their defeat at West Ham ended a run of nine consecutive wins in the Premier League and they have only lost four league games all season, which is fewer than any other team.

At White Hart Lane things are even better for Mauricio Pocchettino’s men. They are unbeaten in the Premier League there this season and have only dropped four points in total. The last dropped points came in a 1-1 draw against Leicester all the way back in October, with them winning 13 matches on the bounce since then.

Manchester United scraped through to the Europa League Final on Thursday as they drew 1-1 at home to Celta Vigo, a result which makes it one win, three draws, and one defeat in their last five outings in all competitions.

Their Premier League campaign has been plagued by draws both home and away, and it leaves them four points adrift of the top four and looking very unlikely to break into it. Jose Mourinho has already revealed that the vast majority of their remaining energy will be focused on the Europa League, so we could potentially see a weakened side on Sunday.

Away from home The Red Devils’ record is actually better than at Old Trafford, but against the big teams they have often failed to perform. They lost 2-0 at Arsenal last weekend and have failed to score in all of their trips away to the teams above them.

Considering Spurs have kept a clean sheet in 67% of their home games this season, including against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, odds of 7/4 for Tottenham to Win to Nil look fantastic value for money. I’m backing that alongside a 2-0 correct score predictions at 15/2.

I’m also backing Dele Alli to score anytime at 8/5 for our goalscorer predictions. The young English midfielder has scored in four of his five home games against the rest of the top seven this season and has a very impressive 17 Premier League goals to his name.
Spurs to win 2-0
