Absence of Jackson Martinez is BIG BLOW FOR THE HOST TEAM.

Porto have played 9 matches of Champions League without losing. They have a lot of experience in this European competition.

After the first leg the result is 1-1. For the Portuguese, moving into the quarter-finals would be the greatest success in the Champions League since the final victory of 2004.In the domestic League during the weekend Porto won1-0 in Braga. Now they are closer to the league leader Benfica. If te hosts didn't make any big mistake they should be already in the next round. If they play at their limit it should be enough for the quarter-finals. The Swiss Championship is renewed again. On the weekend Basel won easily against FC Thun at St. Jakob Park 3-0.

yes you`re right,on the other hand NOT all the time statistics predict that would stay like that 9 games and not all the time are the right one.I think tonight is going to be very hard for Porto to win this game.If is 9 games without losing WHY NOT TONIGHT BREAK THAT RECORD AND LOSE :). Remember best Porto striker absent Jackson Martinez and Basel have a strong midfield. I love to see this game is going to be the great to watch.

P.S I think Porto are unbeaten in the last 8 home games in European competitions, whereas Basel never won in Portugal so far.

GO BASEL.....GO GASHI....
